There are a ton of different ps3's out there. Like the 80,60,40 and 20 gig systems. The very first one to come out was the 40 gig. Since it was out the longest and seems the most reliable I got this one. Don't get any refurbished consoles. Even if Gamestop says guaranteed to work it still may break down. Im not saying ps3's are a bad system Im just giving you advice on which one to buy. I hope this helps you on your ps3 purchasing.
